HOW TO KEEP YOUR ENERGY IN WINTER? PART 1
Discover our top tips to stay energised and motivated throughout the winter season — exercise, breathing, and listening to your body.

What better way to stay energised and keep moving throughout the winter than to take care of your body and recharge?
Here are a few tips to help you get through the cold months without even noticing.
EXERCISE
First of all, make sure you exercise. Sport is the best way to maintain your energy levels, as it triggers the release of hormones such as endorphins and adrenaline that give your body a real boost.
Just half an hour a day is enough to re-energise yourself and feel good in your body.
Start with a few stretches to warm up your joints and muscles, then add some core work and planks (on the floor for comfort), a touch of cardio (skipping rope, cycling, or going up and down the stairs), and finish with another stretching session.
Also remember to take a daily dose of collagen (at least 10 grams) to regenerate your joints and muscles, which suffer in the winter cold.

WORK ON YOUR BREATHING
Next, work on your breathing while adopting good posture at work:
Stand tall, lengthen your neck and pull your shoulders back. Draw your navel in towards your spine. In short, adopt a dancer's posture. For breathing, inhale deeply while stretching from head to toe, then exhale while engaging your pelvic floor and grounding your feet into the floor.
LISTEN TO YOUR BODY
Don't forget to listen to your body and your biological clock: there's nothing stopping you from treating yourself to a short restorative nap. Choose the moment when your eyelids feel heavy, when your posture starts to strain your neck and back, when your colleague is repeating themselves in a meeting that has already gone on for two hours.
